Concluded the second monitoring of the plantation carried out at Cala Pozzo on the island of Favignana, within the activity ’Reintroduction of Calendula maritima according to the criteria of species traslocation’ (Action C.3). About two months after planting, almost all plants (87%) are healthy, around 88% are ready to bloom, 72% are already in full blooming and 70% will soon disperse their seeds. Among the planted individuals, 14% did not survive, whilst among those established, less than 1% shows clear symptoms of water stress, and 11% already dispersed their seeds.
