After an accurate exploration of the whole coastline between the nature reserves ‘Foce del fiume Belice’ and ‘Zingaro’, a 1:2000 scale map of all extant populations of Calendula maritima has been carried out. We mapped 15 distinct populations, growing between the nature reserves ‘Isole dello Stagnone di Marsala’ and ‘Monte Cofano’in the province of Trapani. The area of occupancy of each population was assessed by using a sub-metric precision GPS.
