Saturday, 7th July 2018 at the Natural Reserve ‘Saline di Trapani e Paceco’ took place the event “The Ronciglio and Calendula maritima, a site which deserves to be protected”, organized by the WWF, the Reserve manager, under the patronage of various institutions and of the Life CalMarSi project. From 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. the volunteers of various associations and private citizens were involved in the extraordinary cleaning of the Ronciglio beach, which hosts one of the most important populations of Calendula maritima. About 150 large waste bags were collected, whishing that the cleaning job will not be nullified within a few days.
