The eradication of invasive alien species has been completed in the 6 sites concerned. In total, more than 7200 m² of coastal habitats in which Calendula maritima is present have been cleared by Carpobrotus edulis. The removal of Carpobrotus is favoring the recovery of coastal communities where Calendula maritima finds its natural habitat.
