In the framework of action C3 – ’Reintroduction of Calendula maritima according to the criteria of species traslocation’, the monitoring of plants planted at Cala Pozzo in Favignana was carried out. Six months after transplanting, due to the long-lasting summer drought, most plants (82%) show slight signs of water stress, about 22% bear flower buds, 10% are in bloom and 5% are fruiting/dispersing their seeds. Among the transplanted individuals 21% did not survive.
