As part of action ‘C2 – Strengthening natural populations’, in August and September the plants planted on Colombaia Island were monitored. Despite the long-lasting drought of the summer period, almost 75% of the plants are healthy, 19% are still in bloom, but no plant bearing seed were found. Among the planted individuals, 26% did not survive, while among the well-established ones, 30% showed evident symptoms of stress with a number of stressed plants in September which has increased by almost 20% compared to August.
