On Friday 8 October 2021, the first of four online meetings took place, aimed at the shared and participatory drafting of a memorandum of understanding for the safeguard and protection of Calendula maritima Guss.
A moment of confrontation, in the presence of the representatives of the Municipalities of Erice, Marsala, Trapani, FLAG Trapanese, WWF, the Nature reserve “Saline di Trapani and Paceco”, which marks another important step within the LIFE CalMarSi Project – LIFE15 NAT / IT / 000914, with the aim of eliminating or mitigating the main factors that threaten the survival of this herbaceous species living in some of the Egadi Islands and in the stretch of coast between Marsala and Pizzolungo.
